![]() ![]() I mean… we have all disassembled the binary in those replacement exes and absolutely know 100% than in a months time they don’t start monitoring your keystrokes and send them during the next time the game has net access to some russian dude right? I don’t think DRM is a very good idea in it’s current form, but the idea that so many gamers, even honest ones routinely let hacker groups run exes on their machines, and then likely do internet banking on those same machines amazes me. ![]() If the only reason to crack a game is the fear that if you format your PC 4 times in a single year that you might have to make a single phone call, then is it really worth sticking a new executable from some russian hackers that sits in a game that likely has permission to go through your firewall REALLY worth it?
